Being able to hit confirm or punish your opponent with a Critical Art requires speed and precision. And the Hit Box provides the fastest possible way to do Critical Art.
Be sure to perfecting your "Hadoken / Quarter-Circle Motion" before practicing your Critical Arts!

This is simply a double quarter circle motion.

But there are faster ways to do this input.
SOCD Shortcut
There are two ways to start this shortcut:
1. Walking Critical Art - start by holding forward
2. Crouching Critical Art - start with down
Walking Critical Art
The Walking Critical Art Shortcut uses SOCD to get an easy Down input and takes advantage of the lenient input system in Street Fighter V - you do not need diagonal inputs for Critical Arts!
The Walking Critical Art Shortcut can be done in 5 frames.
Hold Forward
Tap Back + Down
Release Back + Down
Tap Back + Down
Release Down + Back and press Attack

Crouching Critical Art
The Crouching Critical Art Shortcut works the same way as the Walking version, but you are going to start with the Down input first instead of the Forward input.
The Crouching Critical Art Shortcut can be done in 4 frames!

Release Back + Down and press Attack

Once you have learned the Walking Critical Art Shortcut, all you will have to do is start with the Down input first and you will know the Crouching Critical Art Shortcut too!
