C.O.M.B.O. Art Installation

You can customize your C.O.M.B.O. with whatever art you want!

Getting the Art

When you have decided which art you want to put into your C.O.M.B.O.s, you will have to print the art onto paper or thin card-stock.

  • Use an official Art Template:
    • Official Art Templates: Custom Art Template Downloads
      • If you just want art for your C.O.M.B.O.s, then use the C.O.M.B.O. Art Template.
      • If you want to get art for your C.O.M.B.O.s and your Hit Box Arcade controller, use the Controller Art Template of your choice.
    • Further printing and cutting instructions are included with the templates.
  • Use a third-party service:
    • Focus Attack offers custom print and cut service for each Hit Box Arcade controller. Use the button cut-outs for the C.O.M.B.O.s.
    • Ask in r/fightsticks for other print and cut services:

Parts & Modularity

C.O.M.B.O. Buttons (CBs) are composed of four main parts: the Ring, the Plunger, the Optimizer, and the Well.

Each part of the CB is modular with other CBs and C.O.M.B.O. Extensions.

  • Ring
    • This locks onto the top of the C.O.M.B.O. Button and keeps all of the parts together.
  • Plunger
    • Composed of two parts: the Plunger and the Cap.
    • The Plunger allows for different actuation points, which we call speeds: Classic (1.0mm), Super (0.5mm), and Ultra (0.3mm).
    • The Cap can disconnect from the Plunger. This allows any C.O.M.B.O. Button to install a clear Cap to showcase custom art. Similarly, swapping the default Cap with Caps of other colors will completely change the button's look.
  • Optimizer
    • The Optimizer (OP) silences and shortens the total travel distance of your buttons press.
    • The are three OP options: Classic (1.5mm), Super (1.0mm), and Ultra (0.65mm).
  • Well
    • The Well holds the other parts within it.
    • The Cherry MX Low Profile Speed Silver is installed onto the bottom of the Well.
